I am a musician. I publish my music through TuneCore to all digital platforms for sale, digital shops such as iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Spotify, Amazon, &c. First off, I would like to say congratulations on the completion of your work, and to thank you for keeping us up to date on your progress and for sharing the listed albums.

Our apologies for any upset caused on our end following your recent update dated June 27th2023.

Your original request from 2018 for permission to use 150 verses (unmodified) from The Authorized Version of the Bible (King James Bible) in your music which you made available for sale in the UK was granted a non-exclusive English language rights throughout the UK, (outside the UK this work is in the public domain).

It was requested the following full copyright notice acknowledgement for the text appears along with the album description which you have confirmed was done in subsequent emails.

Your 2018 request was initially processed before the restructure of our Permissions team thus my colleague, Tricia Manahan had no clear visibility of any previous agreement. She was therefore following our new process of requesting information so that a signed licensing agreement could be drafted. We do now require a signed agreement for all Bibles Permissions, whether they have been granted at no-charge, or for a fee.

Tricia will now work on completing the licensing agreement based on all the previous information you have provided. Once you are in receipt of the Agreement, may we ask that you do a quick review and sign for our records. I do appreciate it might be difficult for you to print out a copy, so if more convenient please respond your approval of the agreement via email and we will archive.
